Greetings from southern Africa! It has been our joy to live in Johannesburg and to serve in South Africa and Zimbabwe for over eight years. Our passion is training. Jay thrives in situations where he is able to come alongside pastors and young leaders for the purpose of encouraging and building them up to be better equipped to serve the Lord in their respective fields. He is also committed to community transformation by equipping local leaders to better meet the needs of their people through both community development and spiritual formation. Sarah, after nine and a half years with Mercy Ships and YWAM, is primarily “my kids’ mom”. However, she loves opportunities to teach within the Body of Christ, and is also involved in helping new missionaries effectively transition to the field. Our three boys, Thomas (14), Graham (12) and Samuel (7) consider Africa as home. The older two are actively involved in Scouting, tennis, and the children’s ministry at church. Samuel is actively involved in everything and loves having his big brothers as his cell group leaders.
