Our Purpose
- To share the love and joy and strength found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
- To share words of truth found in God’s Word, the Bible.
- To train principals and teachers in teaching strategies and concepts that will enhance their preschool and primary school teaching programs.
- To provide resources that support OC Africa’s training program and equip principals and teachers to apply sound teaching practices in their schools.
Golang Education Outreach was established in 2002 with a vision to uplift and enhance the educational journeys of under-privileged and vulnerable children. The Outreach is based in the Emthonjeni Community Center in Honeydew, mainly serving the children living in the informal settlement of Zandspruit. For the Outreach to achieve its vision most effectively, involvement in the lives of children needs to be started at an early age and continue until adulthood. This involvement also needs to be relationship-based and holistic in character.
