Leadership Development Needs Research Project

Where do you have the greatest need to develop and grow? The TOPIC Leadership Development Research Project is an initiative to create a current and accurate information system of Church leadership needs in Southern Africa. The goal of the research project is to provide an accessible and accurate tool to progressively mature the Christian Leadership in Southern Africa for the glory of God.

In South Africa, pastoral leaders are being systematically surveyed to understand their need for additional training and development. A national sample is being collected that can provide opportunities for analysis from a variety of cultural, socio-economic and geographic contexts. In Southern Africa, pastoral training organisations post their offerings on the Evangelical Training Database (www.trainforChrist.org). This global database provides the opportunity to search for offerings across a spectrum of criteria – by geography, language, subject, cost, and more.
